Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget of GHN. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. A key focus of this role is to thoroughly understand customer needs and ensure that solutions are both feasible and aligned with large-scale operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Needs Understanding:
- Thoroughly understand the real needs of customers, focusing on "what they want" rather than "how they want to do it" to provide appropriate operating methods.
- Advise customers on operating methods that meet their needs and align with organizational capabilities.
2. Internal Operations Insight:
- Understand the internal operations of GHN to provide solutions that meet customer expectations and are feasible for large-scale operations.
3. Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
- Proactively coordinate with relevant departments to plan costs, operations, and other aspects related to the project.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
4. Execution and Implementation:
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Implement the project as planned, ensuring timely and successful completion.
5. Performance Monitoring:
- Utilize dashboards to monitor project performance after implementation.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
6. Reporting:
- Prepare periodic reports on the project for the company on a weekly basis.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
7. Risk and Quality Management:
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits.
8. Stakeholder Communication:
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Communicate with stakeholders to inform them of project progress and key milestones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferable.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional Information:
- This position may require occasional travel to various sites.
- The Project Manager will work closely with different departments to ensure the successful completion of projects.
